Who are you?
This site is ran by EROCx1, who has been studying ethnobotanicals since 1992. I have a great respect and love for these special plants and want to share them with others. That is the purpose on which I founded this site.

Why are your prices so low?
1. I buy direct and most of my vendors are also my friends.
2. I don't pay for advertising or clicks. My customers are 100% by referral or forum member based. I don't want buyers who are not familiar with what they are buying. My customers are those who are most knowledgeable about ethnobotanicals.
3. I do all the work myself, I pay no salaries or comissions.
4. This isn't my job, I have a full time job that supports my family. Gaian Botanicals is a hobby and learning experience for me. Another way to expand my knowledge of these special plants and meet fellow botanical enthusiests.

How does your quality compare to other stores.
Most of the competition I consider friends. So I will say this as humbly as possible. I only buy material that I consider suitable for myself and I am a coinsurer of ethnobotanicals. I don't cherry pick for myself and sell crap. I don't cut, mix or dilute anything. You get exactly what's stated in the description. I am very honest and don not believe in hype.

Tell me about shipping?
I ship discreetly and fast with low s/h fee's via the USPS. The only markings on the package are the purchasers name & address along with the return address and senders name which is E.C. Gaian. No mention of botanicals. If appropriate, handle with care, fragile, priority or first class mail may also be on the package. If its on the site, its in stock. I ship from the U.S. with in 24 hours or receiving payment, NOT counting weekends and / or holidays. Also I reserve the right to take an occasional day off (this is rare). Our customers information is not shared with anyone, your privacy is important to me. I use new packaging manufactured from recycled materials to be friendly to our mother earth. Delivery confirmation is used on US packages and may not be available to our out of country customers. If this is the case, we will retain the receipt from the post office as proof of shipment. We are not liable for "held by the buyers government" or "lost packages". We will not export items which are prohibited by the laws governing the recipients state or country.

Why dont you put more details about using your products in your descriptions?
I cater to those who know ethnobotanicals. If you do not know what a particular plant is used for or how it is used then you should not be buying it at this time. First visit the vast resources of the internet to learn about these sacred plants. I invite you to visit www.Entheogen.com, it’s my favorite online forum. Second I recommend a visit to the vaults at www.erowid.org. Last but not least, simply do a Google search for the botanical in question. The lack of information on this site is to encourage you to learn for your self as it is yourself who will be using these plants.
While the internet is a good resource, there is plenty of false or bad information out there. Be certain to do your homework before introducing yourself to any exotic botanical. I highly recommend building a library of published literature. A good, well rounding and inexpensive book to begin with is Plants of the Gods: Their Sacred, Healing, and Hallucinogenic Powers by Richard Evans Schultes, Albert Hofmann, and Christian Rätsch. If at all possible try to pick up a copy of The Encyclopedia of Psychoactive Plants: Ethnopharmacology and Its Applications by Christian Ratsch. Also The Pharmako trilogy by Dale Pendell is phenomenal. The Healing Forest and The Botany and Chemistry of Hallucinogens by Richard Evans Schultes. For those seeking something a little more philosophical then technical Food of the Gods, The Archaic Revival, True Hallucinations or any book written by Terence McKenna are all must haves. Last but not least Pharmacotheon: Entheogenic Drugs, Their Plant Sources and History by Jonathan Ott and Albert Hofmann. Procure and read these great books and you will be glad you did.

I do not have an automated system that notifies customers when a package ships. Purchasers will receive an email that your order has been placed and if the order has been paid for, then it will be in the mail by the following business day at the very latest.
